The City of Love

Well, we finally arrived safely in the city of love. The jet lag was terrible, and I'm fairly sure I now know how it feels to experience a near-death occurrence because of it; I am officially too old to stay up for 28+ hours. Fortunately however, I survived and have recovered since then.

We are staying in Hotel Richmond in Gare du Norde (North Train Station). Its a nice little hotel, with amazingly hot showers. Alex keeps remarking at how small the rooms are compared to American hotel rooms, but they are quaint and it is not like there is not enough space. Tragically, we arrived before our check-in time and had to go directly to exploring while approaching 24 hours of not sleeping. After a nice breakfast (oh yeah, something cool, they serve breakfast in the basement [kinda sketchy Hostel scenario at first]), we got onto a Hop On-Hop Of tour bus that shuttled us around Paris. It was nice and took us to the most popular places, however we were all extremely tired and approaching the irritability phase of sleepiness. Eventually we were able to check into our hotel and proceeded to crash.
French Breakfast

Today, after getting a relieving full night of sleep, we decided to wonder around Paris. Here is the documentation:
On Top of the Eiffel Tower

Our Lock on the Lock Bridge
Eating Gyros
Arc de Triomphe

We visited the Eiffel Tower, Norte Dame, the lock bridge, and Arc de Triomphe along with other various places in Paris.
